Bizza Caviar “Chandelaire Thunder”

Ambition is one the founding elements evoked in Hip Hop. Ambitious raps are the tenets, and framework which feverishly galvanized the world to take notice . Back when the Sugar Hill Gang under Slyvia Robinson released “Rapper’s Delight” luxury was the luring component along with innovation and panache. The Montreal, Canadian artist Bizza has proving to be of the same ilk adopting some of these same doctrines on his compelling new release titled “Chandelaire Thunder”. The album features captivating storytelling, that’s ambitious in production, ambitious in concepts and ambitious in aesthetics.

“Chandelaire Thunder” from the onset Bizza displays a lyrical aptness and vocal presence that’s magnetizing. Soundscapes laced with smooth ambient sounds meticulously selected scintillating instrumentation set to conjure a definitive aura and mystic. The Montreal artist’s lyrical penchant hinges more towards poetry, with impactful wordplay and storytelling. This title track sets the ambiance for what’s to come.

Followed by “Up” which is adorned with lush keys filtered transitions, and a fine tuned engorged kick drum. Bizza extrapolates on motivational mantras. The presentation embodied in this recording is one likened to an exclusive seminar packed with aspirational bars to navigate any ambitious person who’s in need of motivation. Bizza raps “Get that money up, get that, get that, money up, I manage you in the booth and in the streets”.

“Olympics” is a rhythmic stadium pounding anthem. Laced with colossal sounding drums and claps this apocalyptic production is the most ambitious endeavor employed on this album thus far. Featuring various transitions where the beat switches Bizza tells a cold story keeping in pace with his flow never wavering stating “warlord, outlaw, vigilante, check the scoreboard, we move like cyborg....

“Truth Be Told” With Jazzy Rhodes evoking a calming effect. The Montreal artist is able to marinate his harmonies and lyrics seamlessly in the production. This is the stand out track of the album which finds The Canadian artist harmonizing about a precarious love endeavor. A journey of an intimate relationship that’s getting more serious. The melodies are relaxing and emblematic of themes ventured on this album. With affluent procured production Bizza delivers cunningly enriching the listener with aesthetic and.

Sequencing into “Hood Times” driven by springy chords soothing pads accompanied by a female vocalist Nicki Juku, Bizza delivers a interactive recording based off of courting a new fling.

“Utah Game 6”

The Poetic prose which is uttered in the intro sets the template. House inspired vocals coo in the backdrop fused with trap laden hi hits and rim hits. Bizza poetically unravels a story taking on the role of a cold philander and naive menace. Utah game 6 is a reference to Michael Jordan’s last shot in the Bulls uniform but this record pulls more of acomparison to his successors Kobe Bryant in Utah when he was allegedly charged for sexual assault. This ruminating compositions which takes place in Bizza mind is chilling and gripping.

Ambition is often measured by success. Success is mostly gaged by worldy possessions. Bizza employs this doctrine by electing pensive production espousing lyrics from a rich privileged perspective at times, but primarily utilizing production that’s mellow and affluent in aura to espouse lyrics that are rich in ambition. This album delves in aspiration in love, break up, and the pursuit of your dreams utilizing the core principles of Hip Hop. “Chandelaire Thunder” was a good listen and filled with interesting plot twist and messaging.
